Performance DPF Delete Kits are intended for off road or race use only and will void manufacturer's warranties and are not legal for highway use in Canada or US.
These kits basically bypass the particulate filter giving the vehicle some added horse-power benefit. In the process it disables part of the vehicle's emission control system which can result in some hefty fines for both the owner and the installer if installed on a vehicle intended for the road.

Thanks for your information on dpf delete kits . I have been curious to what exactly they are. But your post has been very helpful and I understand what they are just a little better now. It is very interesting what they do and are able to do. Can you tell me where I can find more information on them?
Most customers wanting to do a DPF delete are simply trying to increase fuel economy. Very few are actually worried about performance. There are ways to increase fuel economy without deleting the DPF and EGR systems.
